Memorandum of Understanding(MoU)

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan -2018

The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a significant cleanliness campaign was organised in the campus by COPT students and staffs. The cleanliness drive was conducted in and around campus between 1st August to 15th August 2018.

Pediatric Survey Camp

World Health Day camp was observed by Department of Neurosciences in Bhalwani, Parner. The camp was organized at Primary health care centre. The total 25 children below the age of 2 years of age were screened and 1 child was affected. Pragati Pustak was given to the parents.

World Health Day Camp

World Health Day camp was observed by Department of Neurosciences in Bhingar. The camp was organized with the help of social worker and Anganwadi sevika. The team of physiotherapy students and staff Dr. Chetana Kunde visited the camp. The total 25 children parent visited for the camp. Pragati Pustak was given to the parents . We found that 1 child of 7 years old with right hemiplegia and the other child of 4 years old with developmental delay.. These children were referred to physiotherapy OPD of our hospital.

Pediatric Survey Camp

Pediatric survey camp was conducted by Department of Neurosciences in Bhingar. The total number of houses screened were 200 out of which 25 children were below 2 years of age, their parents were educate as how to screen there children normal development through Pragati Pustak. We found that 2 children with developmental delay, 1 child of 2.5 years was unable to walk independently and 1.5 years unable to sit independently. These children were referred to physiotherapy OPD of our hospital.

Zilla Parishad Camp

Our college conducted an assessment and rehabilitation camp at Sarva Siksha Abhiyan at karjat. Team of physiotherapy staff , interns and PG students visited the camp. The total 52 children with disability were assessed and home exercise program was given to the patients. Total 20 children with cerebral palsy, 3 children were DMD, 1 GBS, 8 children were developmental delay and 20 other had musculoskeletal conditions were evaluated. Those children who required physiotherapy were referred to our hospital.

World Elderly Day

The event was held by community dept. assessment of the elderly was done and various games were played to boost their confident and to assess their functional performance.

Pragati Pustak Survey Camp

The camp was conducted by Department of Neurosciences in Vadgoan Gupta village. The total number of houses we screened were 200, out of which 18 children were below the age of 24 months and adult patient survey was also done in which we noticed that 16 patients with hypertension and diabetes mellitus, 2 patients with stroke.

Cerebral palsy Camp

The camp was conducted by Department of Neurosciences in Vadgoan Gupta village. The total number of houses we screened were 200, out of which 31 children were below the age of 24 months and 3 children were affected, out of which 1 child of 2.5 years had dystonic CP and 2 children of age 2.5 and 1.5 years had developmental delay.

Cerebral palsy Camp

The camp was conducted by Department of Neurosciences in Shendi village. The total number of houses we screened were 200, out of which 14 children were below the age of 24 months and 1 child of 2.5 years had developmental delay.

Cerebral palsy Camp

The camp was conducted by Department of Neurosciences in Shingwenaik village. The total number of houses we screened were 150, out of which 14 children were below the age of 24 months and 4 children were affected as 1 child of 4 years had difficulty in balancing, 1 child of 6 years was quadriplegic CP, 1 child of 6 years had left hemiplegia and 1 child of 14 years had DMD.

Cerebral palsy Camp

The camp was conducted by Department of Neurosciences in Shendi village. In this survey we screened 130 houses and out of which 38 children were below the age of 24 months and we noticed that 2 children, in which 1 child of 4 years had toe walking gait and 5 year child had genu recurvatum.

Pediatric Survey Camp

Third survey camp was conducted at Nandgao Shingwe village, we covered 26 houses of new born babies. In survey camp we found 1 child of 1 years with cerebral palsy, we also went to screen the development of affected children found in last 2 camps. Out of 3 children one has started taking physiotherapy in our department

Pediatric Survey Camp

After the successful conduction of first camp department of Neurosciences planned to cover remaining house of the same village. The total number of houses screened were 100 out of which 35 children were below 24 months and we noticed 1 child with developmental delay.

World CP Day Camp

World cerebral palsy day was observed by the Department of Neurosciences at Dehre village. The team of department of Neurosciences (staff & students) visited door to door basis and distributed pamphlets named Pragati Pustak to the parents. The total number of houses screened were 150 and out of which 25 children were below 24 months of age and we noticed that 2 children with cerebral palsy and one child with hydrocephalus.
