Anti -Terrorism Day

Anti -Terrorism Day was observed by Dept. of Neurophysiotherapy on 21st May 2021; Quiz competition & PPT presentation on the topic of Anti -terrorism laws in India were scheduled on Zoom Platform.

World Health Day

World health day was celebrated on 7th April 2021 by Musculoskeletal Sciences Department. A small video was played at the Hospital OPD counter on “Awareness of Covid 19”.

National Science Day

National Science Day was observed on 28th February 2021 at 11.00 am to 1.00 pm on zoom platform. In this event, innovation presenting competition was organized for under graduate students and innovation presentation for alumni students.

Chhatrapati Shivaji
Maharaj Jayanti

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti was celebrated on 19th Feb 2021. Program started with the inaugural function followed by the skit play performed by the PG and UG students based on skit on life of Shivaji Maharaj. Refreshments were arranged for all the teaching, non teaching staff and students.

Educational Visit

The students of our college had organized an Educational visit to Asha kendra, puntamba and the visit was managed by department of Neurosciences and Community medical sciences. There were 150 patients in the Asha kendra. Students were taken to physiotherapy OPD and IPD departments were they interacted with stroke patients. Total 63 stroke patients were evaluated. This visit was successful as it had great learning experience and proved beneficial in imparting knowledge to the students.

Pediatric Survey Camp

Pediatric survey camp was observed by Department of Neurosciences at Primary health centre in Daithane Gunjal ,Ahmednagar. The total 3 neuro postgraduate students and 7 final year students posted in Neuroscience department. The total 17 children below the age of 2 years were screened. Pragati Pustak was given to the parents. 1 child with delayed milestone was noticed. The parents were encouraged to come for treatment at VPMH in Ahmednagar.

Pediatric Survey Camp

Pediatric survey camp was observed by Department of Neurosciences in Jamgoan,Ahmednagar. The total 10 neuro and community postgraduate students participated in camp. The total 6 were screened for developmental delay by neuro post graduate student. Pragati Pustak was given to the parents. They were told to screen for developmental delay in their locality and visit physiotherapy department of our hospital.

Pediatric Survey Camp

Pediatric survey camp was observed by Department of Neurosciences in Dhawalpuri, Parner. The camp was organized at Primary health care centre. The total 20 children below the age of 2 years of age were screened and 3 children was affected. Pragati Pustak was given to the parents. Lecture was delivered throw power point presentation to the parents.
