Cerebral palsy Camp

The camp was conducted by Department of Neurosciences in Vadgoan Gupta village. The total number of houses we screened were 200, out of which 31 children were below the age of 24 months and 3 children were affected, out of which 1 child of 2.5 years had dystonic CP and 2 children of age 2.5 and 1.5 years had developmental delay.

Cerebral palsy Camp

The camp was conducted by Department of Neurosciences in Shendi village. The total number of houses we screened were 200, out of which 14 children were below the age of 24 months and 1 child of 2.5 years had developmental delay.

Cerebral palsy Camp

The camp was conducted by Department of Neurosciences in Shingwenaik village. The total number of houses we screened were 150, out of which 14 children were below the age of 24 months and 4 children were affected as 1 child of 4 years had difficulty in balancing, 1 child of 6 years was quadriplegic CP, 1 child of 6 years had left hemiplegia and 1 child of 14 years had DMD.

Cerebral palsy Camp

The camp was conducted by Department of Neurosciences in Shendi village. In this survey we screened 130 houses and out of which 38 children were below the age of 24 months and we noticed that 2 children, in which 1 child of 4 years had toe walking gait and 5 year child had genu recurvatum.

Pediatric Survey Camp

Third survey camp was conducted at Nandgao Shingwe village, we covered 26 houses of new born babies. In survey camp we found 1 child of 1 years with cerebral palsy, we also went to screen the development of affected children found in last 2 camps. Out of 3 children one has started taking physiotherapy in our department

Pediatric Survey Camp

After the successful conduction of first camp department of Neurosciences planned to cover remaining house of the same village. The total number of houses screened were 100 out of which 35 children were below 24 months and we noticed 1 child with developmental delay.

World CP Day Camp

World cerebral palsy day was observed by the Department of Neurosciences at Dehre village. The team of department of Neurosciences (staff & students) visited door to door basis and distributed pamphlets named Pragati Pustak to the parents. The total number of houses screened were 150 and out of which 25 children were below 24 months of age and we noticed that 2 children with cerebral palsy and one child with hydrocephalus.

 

National Anthem Programme
National Anthem Programme was organised for all students and staffs of COPT.
International Yoga Day-2015

DVVPFs College of Physiotherapy and Medical College jointly observed first International Yoga Day on 21/06/2015. Around 150 students and teachers performed various yoga postures.
